I've finally removed my braces after I don't know, 4 - 5 years of having it? And it took only about 30 minutes. The removing of the brackets was freaking easy, but removing the cement was damn gross. & the sound of the tools was damn disturbing. Everything just flew out of my mouth! Yuck! It was quite bloody also! Now my gums feel sore =( But now I can eat everything & anything without worrying that the food will get stuck in my braces! :D
